The key-personnel of Thermoconsult have long and comprehensive experience from a great number and different kind of projects within refrigeration and heat pumps. Per Erik Abrahamsen
Per Erik has technical education from Technical High School (B.Sc.) and Technical University (M.Sc.) in Trondheim 1977. His main subject was Refrigeration and Energy. He then was employed 8 years as consultant in refrigeration and HVAC by Lund-Aass, at that time among the leading consulting companies in Norway regarding refrigeration and heat pumps. In 1985 he was manager of the Refrigeration division of Drammen Stål (former Drammens Jern) until this was sold to Kværner Kulde in 1987. After this he started his own consulting firm PEA Consult AS. In 1992 he took part in the foundation of Thermoconsult AS.
Per Erik has been involved in numerous projects related to cold stores in general, wholesaler distribution terminals, refrigeration installations for supermarkets, refrigerating plant for miscellaneous food processing industry, heat pumps and artificial skate rinks (among others "Vikingskipet" in Norway).
Per Erik has, besides long and comprehensive experience in refrigeration and heat pumps, particular competence regarding building and constructional engineering of cold stores. This competence is demanded both from owners, architects, contractors and consultants. In this field he has been engaged as expert in arbitration and disputes both in Norway and abroad.
Per Erik has been examiner for many years at the University in Trondheim (NTH/NTNU) Institute of Refrigeration.
Per Erik has been member of different commissions, also as chairman.

Egill T Elvestad
Egill is a Nestor in the refrigeration and heat pump society in Norway. He has more than 40 years of experience from different refrigeration companies, consulting and educational institutes.
Egill has his technical education from Technical University (M.Sc.) in Trondheim 1960. His main subject was Refrigeration and HVAC. He also has additional education in refrigeration from Institut Francais du Froid Industriel in France. Ha has been employed as construction manager by Aanonsen Fabrikker (manufaturer of refrigerators etc.), as chief/senior engineer of the Refrigeration division of LBR (a multi discipline consulting company for the Norwegian Association of Agriculture). From 1986 to 1992 he was employed as refrigeration and HVAC consultant by Harsem Prosjektering. In 1992 he took part in the foundation of Thermoconsult AS.
Egill has already from 1981 been associated, fully or partly, the High School Centre in Vestfold. Since 1986 he has been subject teacher in "Refrigeration and Heat Pumps".
Egill has through the years been involved in a great number of different refrigerating or heat pump projects. He is an "all rounder" possessing considerable experience, always focusing on implementing reliable and sturdy solutions. No task is too little, no one too large!
Egill has been member of many commissions. He has been chairman of "Norwegian Refrigeration Society". He has also been a commission member of IIR, Commission D1 "Refrigerated storage" and D2 "Refrigerated transport".

Helge Lunde
Helge has technical education from Technical High School (B.Sc.) and Technical University (M.Sc.) in Trondheim 1976. His main subject was Refrigeration and Energy. He then started as a consultant employed by the energy consulting companey "Kjelforeningen Norsk Energi", but turned to the Refrigeration division by Drammens Jern i 1978. This company had long traditions was the leading refrigeration company in Norway for decades. He became manager of this division in 1982 when the company continued as Drammen Stål. In 1985 he changed position as technical director in Norol Energi which core business was larger heat pump systems. In 1987 he started his own consulting firm REF Consult AS. In 1992 he took part in the foundation of Thermoconsult AS.
Helge has a long and comprehensive experience from various and different type of refrigeration and heat pump installations, smaller as well as bigger installation, on land or on board different type of ships and vessels. A lot of his work has been trouble-shooting, commissioning and testing for documentation of capacities, deviations from contractual conditions and malfunctioning of the installation. In this field his qualifications are well known and demanded both in Norway and abroad.
Helge has developed different computer programs for calculation and simulation purposes especially designed for refrigeration and heat pump systems. He has also particular knowledge about oil queries in refrigerating and heat pump installations.
Helge is often used as an expert in disputes and arbitrations.
Helge has been member of many commissions. He has been chairman of Norwegian Refrigeration Society's "Technical advisory commission" for many years, since 1983 commission member of IIR Commission B2 "Refrigerating Machinery".
